Want to be a part of the game of the century and have the time of your life ? Then powder puff is the game for you. Thursday November 9th under the lights at 6:30 be apart of history as West Bridgewater has their first ever powder puff game! battle of the grade style 9-12.  $20 for girls to play includes a long sleeve shirt and $15 to be a cheerleader including a long sleeve shirt.if you don't want to get in on the fun but want to support your grade then buy a shirt for $15 in your grades color! All sign ups and money is due by THIS FRIDAY! don't miss out on this great event!

Attention all Leos!  There will be a Leos Club meeting this Thursday at either 7:05 or 2:05. If you have not returned your application and dues, please bring them to the meeting.

Model UN will be meeting Wednesday and Thursday morning this week to prepare for our first meet this weekend.  Also remember to bring in your permission form.

It’s finally getting colder outside and the Ski Club is already thinking about a glorious winter with snowfalls the height of Mt. Everest.  If you would like to join or are even a little curious about the Ski Club, come on by the auditorium on Wednesday during Power Block.

Reminder!  It’s Ukulele Wednesday!  See Mrs. Diman for a Power Block pass if you want to come down and see what it’s all about!  Do you “Uke”???

Attention Wildcat Leaders - A reminder that next week you will be meeting with your 7th grade student.  Please make sure you go to the powerblock after the 5 minute freeze and stay with your student for the entire time.  Here are the dates for each powerblock

The College Visits  list is now available on the school website under guidance department.  This document will be constantly updating so please check back on a regular basis.  There is a signup sheet in the guidance office and you will also need a pass to give to your teacher.

College visits for the next week are as follows: URI will be stopping by on Tuesday, UMAINE on Wednesday, Johnson and Wales, Stonehill College and Merrimack College will be here on Friday.  New visits are:

Applications are being accepted for the Hugh O’Brian Youth Foundation (HOBY) seminar in the guidance office.  Each year West Bridgewater has the opportunity to send one sophomore to this all-expense paid weekend seminar, being held at Bentley University.  This leadership program introduces high school sophomores to distinguished leaders from various sectors such as business, education, technology, government, science and the arts.  Sophomores are encouraged to apply for this opportunity.  Interested students can obtain more information in the guidance office.

Attention Seniors -- The time is now to begin work on your Senior Bios.  Follow the guidelines on our Yearbook Classroom page to turn in your Bio and Senior Picture assignment. We will not be accepting late submissions so everything must be completed by the deadline -- Wednesday, November 1st! Please see Mrs. DeLorenzo or Mrs. DeSimone with any questions.

This Friday October 20th Student Council is encouraging all students and staff to WEAR PINK in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.  

ATTENTION YEARBOOK STAFF - Mark your calendars for upcoming meetings on Thursday 10/19 and Tuesday 10/24.  We will be meeting afterschool in Room 204.

The Spanish Honor Society is hosting its second Tapas and Flamenco night at the West Bridgewater Middle Senior High School on Thursday, October 19th from 6-8 pm. Come and join us for a night of appetizers and an interactive performance by Flamenco Boston. Tapas will be served beginning at 6pm and the flamenco show will begin at 7pm. All are welcome to join! Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults with a family cap of $30. Come and enjoy a cultural evening filled with great food and lively music!

JUNIORS:   your $45 dues are now due…...all dues must be paid before you will be allowed to purchase a prom ticket...all dues are being collected by Mrs. Graziano in room 218….if you have a problem let her know.

Attention freshmen and sophomores.  Your class dues at due by November 3rd.  Freshmen dues is $10 and should be given to Mrs. Longo.  Sophomore dues is $15 and should be given to Mr. Winchell.  If there are financial hardships, please speak to Mrs. DeLorenzo in the front office.  

Both the varsity and jv volleyball teams lost yesterday at Holbrook  but that won't stop the wildcats in preparing for their next game at home on Friday! Be part of the fun and come out and support the girls jv at3:30 and varsity at 4:30!

The Wildcat cafe is serving chicken tenders and macaroni and cheese on the hot line today. Pizza quesadillas will be served at the pizza station and the grill is featuring burgers and ham and cheese croissant melts. This week’s grab and go wrap specials are Asian chicken and our new Buffalo chicken salad wrap. Pancakes with a hashbrown patty and assorted breakfast sandwiches are available at break.

Yesterday afternoon on the home course, the girls and boys cross country teams wrapped up the dual-meet portion of the season with victories over Diman, Tri-County and Norfolk Aggie.  This moved the boys record to 13 - 2 and the girls record to 15 - 0.  Chris Williams won his first high school race while Chris Rego, Matt hatch, Chance Bain, Brett Gormley and Brendan Gallivan all had excellent races for the Wildcats.  In the girls race, Lauren Mitcheson, Hannah Russo, Sarah Bryant and Emma Radlinski all placed in the top 10 for WB.

"Field Hockey beat Bishop Feehan 1-0 bringing them one win closer to tournament. Stellar defense and quick offense helped them pull out the win. Join us tomorrow at 3:30 for senior night on the turf!"
