There is a College Visit signup sheets  in the guidance office and you will also need a pass to give to your teacher.

Colleges visiting this week are Thursday, Mass College of Pharmacy.  We end this year’s college visits with St. Michael’s College on Monday, November 13th.

60TH ANNUAL AFL-CIO SCHOLARSHIP -

STUDENTS MAY SIGN UP IN GUIDANCE

EXAM DATE FEBRUARY 7, 2018

ADMINISTERED IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE

THE LABOR HISTORY SCHOLARSHIP EXAM WILL CONSIST OF 30 MULTIPLE CHOICE QUESTIONS AND ONE ESSAY QUESTION WITH A RESPONSE OF 250-500 WORDS.

A STUDY GUIDE IS AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS WHO SIGN  UP FOR THE EXAM.  ANY INTERESTED STUDENTS MUST SIGN UP BY DECEMBER 8 IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE.

PLEASE SEE GUIDANCE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL QUESTIONS.

Seniors please check your school email account for information regarding the Janice M. Scott Memorial Fund.  This scholarship is now available to the Class of 2018 on their website.  If you have any questions, please contact the guidance office.

Model UN will be meeting at our regular time and place this thursday morning.

SENIORS - COMCAST SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS ARE NOW AVAILABLE IN THE GUIDANCE OFFICE.  -  DEADLINE IS NOVEMBER 7.  

JUNIORS:   your $45 dues are now due…...all dues must be paid before you will be allowed to purchase a prom ticket...all dues are being collected by Mrs. Graziano in room 218….if you have a problem let her know.

Yearbook Staff - We will have a brief meeting in the office conference room on Monday 11/6 after school to discuss the cover.  

Attention Seniors -- The time is now for the final vote for superlatives. You can find the link on the Yearbook classroom page to make your choices.  Responses will be accepted until the end of the school day on 11/7.

Student Council - We will me meeting on Wednesday 11/8 before school in Room 204.  If you still have a permission slip for the field trip please bring this with you.

Any Leos Club member who missed Thursday’s meeting, please see Mr. Finley or Mrs. McAlduff for the pie and cookie dough sell sheet.  Let’s reach our goal of raising $1000 for senior scholarships! Leos check our classroom site to sign up for volunteer opportunities.

It is time to help the West Bridgewater Food Pantry!  Please bring in nonperishable items for the food pantry to support our neighbors in need.  Middle school - this is a power block challenge.  The National Honor Society will be coordinating donations at the high school, in addition to Leos Club members.  Let’s all fill the pantry shelves! Donations will be accepted until Thursday, November 16th.

The next Photo Club meeting will be held Tuesday after school in room 202. Be sure to upload a photo on classroom for this week’s theme!

On Saturday, November 18th from 10:00-11:30 A.M., there will be a Zumbathon held in the school gym to raise funds for those impacted by Hurricane María in Puerto Rico.  $5 for students and $8 for adults.  ALL are welcome and NO experience is needed.  Just bring energy, a smile and lots of water because you WILL sweat!  Tickets will be sold during Powerblock and at the door.  Questions?  See Señora Fougere.

(Tuesday) The Wildcat cafe is serving a pasta bar with your choice of meatballs, marinara, or chicken alfredo along with garlic bread. Tony’s french bread pizza is at the pizza station, ham and cheese croissant melts and burgers on the grill and the featured grab and go this week is Autumn chicken with apples, cranberries and cheddar cheese. Assorted breakfast sandwiches and pancakes with a hashbrown patty are available at break.

 It’s November and is reserved to support men's health in general with a focus on Prostate Cancer Awareness.  I'm looking for the male staff to step up and participate in our 2nd annual WB Movember Contest to help raise funds for Prostate Cancer.  Last year we raised over $200. with Mr. Antonio winning bragging rights for most raised funds (and he started late with the birth of his child)!

 The girls varsity soccer team fell to Cohasset yesterday in a hard fought game.  Congratulations to the girls on a great season and thank you to the seniors, Abby, Italia and Victoria.
