FYI: The MIAA finished the Football playoff pairings today and our Wildcats #wbwildcats will be playing Abington on Saturday October 29th at noon. Due to a larger than normal crowd expected at this playoff game, and the fact that the construction of our permanent bleachers is well behind schedule, the game will be played at our "home away from home" field at Bridgewater-Raynham. Last spring our hopes were high that the entire stadium structure would be complete for this fall season, but sadly due to construction issues beyond our control that did not happen. We have been playing games on the field, but without a completed seating infrastructure to hold the 300-500 extra Abington fans expected we have no choice but to play the game at BR. GO WILDCATS!
Don't forget to wear your pink tomorrow!
FYI #wbwildcats WE ARE MOBILE!!! WBPS has a new customized app which gives mobile access to school news, notifications, lunch menus, athletic schedules, all the posts on our webpage and more! The app is free and can be downloaded for android devices at the Google Play Store and for apple devices at the App Store. Download the app today and go to settings in the menu bar to set up your notifications. You can select to receive notifications from the district, individual schools, and/or athletics. Choose them all or just 1 or 2. Go wildcats!! Image may contain: text
Shout out to our seniors. I just received an email from the Adventure Park director where we had our senior field trip. He wanted us to know how much his staff enjoyed and appreciated our kids!
FYI #wbwildcats: On Saturday 9/24 at 1:00pm we will be dedicating the new multi-purpose field at the MSHS in memory of Robert M. Dwyer. The dedication ceremony will be followed by our first home football game in 3 years, against Nantucket at 1:30pm. Please be advised that we are well aware that the landscaping around the field and the new bleachers/press box will not be completed on this date. However, the field will be ready to be played on and we don't want to wait any longer for a home game. We will provide some temporary seating, but we encourage you to bring lawn chairs if you wish to sit, similar to spectating at the soccer fields. So although it may still look like a construction site to some extent, we will be ready to play! Please join us for a great afternoon!!!! Go Wildcats!!
