West Bridgewater Public Schools
Guidelines for 2012-2013

The West Bridgewater School Committee, at its meeting on January 9, 2012, reaffirmed its commitment to School Choice. The number of students admitted is based upon space available as determined by the school district.

• Applications for School Choice may be obtained by visiting the office of the Superintendent of Schools, 2 Spring Street, West Bridgewater, MA 02379, telephone or via this website.
• Applications for School Choice will be accepted at the Superintendent of Schools office via the U.S. Postal Service or fax (508-894-1232). Emails are not accepted. The deadline for submitting an application is 4:00 pm on Friday, February 24, 2012. Applications should be addressed to:

• Should the number of applications exceed the number of vacancies, all applications will be placed in a random drawing by the grade level as indicated on the application.
• Students accepted (contingent upon receipt of all records, i.e. report cards, IEP, MCAS, discipline report) by the West Bridgewater Public Schools will be notified via a written confirmation after March 9th. Parents must make a commitment, in writing, to accept placement when notified by the West Bridgewater Public Schools by March 23, 2012.
• If there are vacancies after the March 23rd deadline, it is anticipated additional School Choice applications will be accepted.
