What is your educational background? I earned a Bachelor's Degree from Bridgewater State College, now Bridgewater State University, in Communication Disorders. After working several years as a Speech and Language Assistant in a private school, I decided to attend Lesley's off-campus program where I received my MEd and teacher certification in Special Education.

What made you choose teaching as a career? Throughout my life, I have enjoyed sharing any information or skills with others.

Can you describe a favorite teaching moment? I have so many favorite moments! Every time a student smiles when he/she begins to understand a new concept or proudly shows a skill to others just makes my day.

What do you do for fun? My new hobby is researching my family genealogy.

What are your favorite foods? My favorite food is a Christo's Greek Salad.

What kind of music do you enjoy? As a music preference, I enjoy jazz standards and ballads.

What movies do you like? When I go to the movies, I either want to see a docudrama or a light comedy.

What books do you enjoy? I enjoy reading non-fictional historical novels.

What Is your favorite way to spend a weekend? I love to have a weekend when I don't have many places I need to be or tasks I need to accomplish, one when I can just go to the movies or take a walk at the spur of the moment.

What do you love about teaching in West Bridgewater?I love the atmosphere of the teaching community in our school system. Each and every teacher devotes so much of their energy toward creating a positive learning environment for the students in West Bridgewater. The students are successful in this environment and respond positively within these walls. I am proud to be a part of such an outstanding school system.

A fun fact about you? I actually grew up in WB and attended both Rose L. McDonald and Howard Schools.
