What made you choose teaching as a career?

I always knew that I wanted a job where I could make a difference, so I decided to pursue a career in the counseling field.  Early on in my career, I worked with people of all ages and found that I especially enjoyed working with teenagers.  That's when I realized that school counseling was the job for me.

Can you describe a favorite teaching moment?

I love when students get college acceptance letters.  It's very exciting to see their smiling faces as they share the good news and realize that their hard work throughout high school has paid off!

I love to spend time with my husband, family and friends.  I enjoy going out to dinner, going to the theater and comedy shows, and listening to music.
