Track athletes!  Meet directly after school today for a mandatory preseason meeting.  Girls in the gym, boys in Mr. Pike’s room. Plan on it lasting 15-20 minutes.

What’s up wildcats! If you’re a fan of High School Musical and snacks, you should Get Your Head in the Fridge! Come Pop to the Top with Miss Pennington in Room 107 every Thursday after school, starting next week. You don’t have to Stick to the Snacks You Know! (HSM Club is open to all students and is BYOS - bring your own snacks).

Grade 10 MCAS information has been posted in the cafe and Learning Commons.  10th grade students please take a look to see what room you have been assigned to.  Non 10th graders who typically have a class in one of the ELA teachers classroom should look to see where your class has been moved to.  Any questions please come to the main office.

1. Class shirt money is due ASAP. It is $10 and can be paid to any of the class officers. If you would like to write a check, please write it to WBHS and include "Class of 2020" in the memo.

 

2. Senior Ball is this Friday, and runs from 6:30-10:00. Please remember that if you are absent or tardy on Friday, you may not attend Senior Ball.

 

3. If you have committed to your college or know what you will be doing next year, please talk to Isabella Dias-Lam about taking your picture for the Future Plans wall. The first round will be up by next week.

ATTENTION AP STUDENTS PLEASE GET YOUR $$ IN BY FRIDAY THE 13TH

Attention Seniors: Just a reminder that you need to come by the Guidance office to check the Scholarship table weekly. New Scholarship opportunities are coming in on a regular basis and you don’t want to miss out! And please bring all Acceptance Letters to Guidance.

This is an important announcement for the Freshman and Sophomore classes:

Class officers will be going around to your Power Blocks to remind you that class dues are going to be collected from now until Friday March 13th. The Freshman class dues are $10 and the Sophomore’s are $15. If for some reason, due to a financial hardship, you cannot pay your dues please go to the office and inform them of your situation. Freshman, please bring your dues to Mrs. Longo. Sophomores, please bring yours to Mr. Winchell.

"Is the environment important to you? Are you interested in being more environmentally friendly?... Then show us how! The Green Team at the WB Public Library is having a video contest to show us how you are environmentally friendly in your everyday life. Just make a 1-3 minute video and tell us your age/grade as there are 4 categories: grades 4-6, 7-8, 9-12, and adult. The deadline for submissions is April 27, so once you have finished your video upload it to youtube or Vimeo and send a link to WBGreenTeam1@gmail.com."

Prom Goers, make sure you go see Jose at Tuxtown.  They have a large variety of tuxedos and suits and they will bring your tux to West Bridgewater High School the day before the prom and he will come pick them back up the day after the prom.  You can’t beat that!

The World Language Department is running an art contest to create a poster to hang in the World Language Wing.  The poster should be a visual representation of this slogan: Languages: Stepping Stones to Global Understanding.  Students are asked to submit their work to any language teacher by April 3rd. An impartial group of teachers will select a winner.  The winner’s art work will be professionally recreated into a 3 foot by 4 foot poster to be displayed on the ceiling in the World Language wing.  Questions? Juniors are reminded that prom ticket sales are less than 2 weeks away….if you haven’t paid dues then you won’t be able to purchase a ticket….tickets to the prom are only on sale that week….Mon. 3/23-Friday3/27…

Model UN officers will be visiting Power Blocks today and tomorrow to share information for our upcoming in school meet taking place Wednesday March 18th.  Any 8-11 grade student who is interested in debate and in resolving issues can participate. Please see Mr. Nenopoulos or talk to one of the officers if interested. 

Attention Model UN students we are meeting today at the start of Power Block by the Google Stairs for our yearbook Photo.  Please be prompt.  

Girls tennis will meet Monday,3/16 in the cafe at 3:15….tryouts start at 3:45...please bring your racquet and dress according to the weather

Any athlete that thinks they should be receiving their varsity jacket this year, please see Ms. Hammel in her office or you can email her at jhammel@wbridgewater.com. Jacket fittings will be on Monday, March 23rd during Powerblock in the gymnasium.

The Wildcat Cafe is serving French Toast sticks with tots along with assorted breakfast sandwiches and pastries for break today.
