Strategic Objectives 1. To provide consistent, rigorous curriculum to prepare our students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in college, career and life. 2. To support the development of educators who utilize data, professional development and collaboration to continually enhance instruction to improve student learning. 3. To provide an environment that supports the physical, social, emotional, mental, behavioral and wellness of all students.
Strategic Initiatives 1a. Create a multi year k-12 curriculum plan to ensure vertical alignment and curricular coordination across disciplines 2a. Evaluate, expand and enhance assessment tools, practices and strategies in order to utilize data to improve student learning. 3a. Develop a consistent approach to embed social emotional learning expectations and supports into the general curriculum, that can be scaffolded for use from PK-12th grade 1b. Investigate the implementation of computer science and computational thinking into the curriculum 2b. Provide scheduled opportunities for intra-school and cross grade collaboration
3b. Identify and incorporate inter and intra school and community partnerships to enhance collaboration and support services 1c. Investigate Various elementary ELA programs and implement an updated curriculum grades k-5 2d. Continue the seamless integration of technology into instruction using the SAMR model 3d. In collaboration with the WBPD Create goals that build upon the responsibilities of the SRO to support the wellness of all students 1e. Integrate civics, project based, and community service learning into the general curriculum 2e. Enhance the social/emotional well-being of educators. 3e. Enhance and expand specialized programs and services, such as wellness supports and a continuum of special education services
