Highlights from the Track meet on 5/3:
Girls Trimeet
Shea O'Neil had a standout day winning all four of her events; Long Jump, 100m, 200m, and 4x400m
Anna Trott also picked up two first place finishes in the High and Triple Jumps and placed in the 100 hurdles and 4x100
Ellie Smith ran a strong 800m race to outpace a strong opponent and win that race and the 1 mile later
Katy Dunn won the discus, Caitlin Kaprelian won the 2 mile,Amanda Jacques won the 100 hurdles,and Lauren Mitcheson won the 400 with a season best finishing time
Girls are 8-0 in the league and finished the season undefeated to win the league!!

- Chance Bain and Nate Anderson took 1st and 2nd in the 400 hurdles
- Chris Williams and Chris Pratt took 1st and 3rd in the 400 m
- Jack Zygiel and Isaac Cote took 1st and 2nd in the 110 hurdles

*Amanda Jacques beasted the 100 Hurdles with a season best and state qualifying time of 16.8. She also picked up points in the 800 and the triple jump.
*Lauren Mitcheson had a day winning the 800, 400, and 4x400 while finishing second in the High Jump.
*Shea O'Neil had a solid day winning the Long Jup, the 100m, the 4x100 and finishing second in the triple jump.
*Aly Basset, Caitlin Kaprelian, Anna Trott, Ellie Smith, Katy Dunn, and Alyssa Gill rounded out the first place finishes for the Wildcats.

Huge shout out to our Boys Basketball team!
The boys basketball team was able to raise $611 for the American Cancer Society as part of the Coaches vs Cancer program.This years game was a huge success as spectators at the game participated in a variety of contests to win prizes and just have a great time for a great cause. To cap it off the freshman, JV, and varsity teams all won their games that night against Westport. Thank you to everyone who came out to support the team!
