The boys basketball team battled the number four, division two team in Massachusetts last night. WB had Somerset on the ropes for the first half of the game, but eventually ended up losing to a very talented team. Luke Destrampe led the defensive charge for the Wildcats. Jag Garces, Thomas Stapleton, and Collin Baker did a nice job attacking the hoop for WB. The entire team handled the intense fullcourt press very well, causing Somerset to have to back off and play half court defense.

Boys basketball team plays at home tonight against Blue Hills. The varsity tips off at five and the JV starts at 3:30.  Please come out and support the hard-working team.

Today’s hot breakfast is a Early Riser egg and cheese hashbrown patty.  Other choices include a variety of pastries, soft pretzels, uncrustables, assorted breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, rainbow parfaits and the “pick 2” snack rack. For cereal lovers, check out the new cereal varieties at the speedy cereal display in front of the milk chest.

It’s Chicken parm over spiral pasta with garlic bread on the hotline today. Pizza crunchers with marinara sauce is at the pizza station and the grill is offering grilled cheese sandwiches. Freshly made grab and go’s include chicken caesar salads and wraps, Buffalo chicken wraps and salads, vegetarian mediterranean wraps, bagels w/ yogurt,  ham and cheese subs and uncrustables.
