MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

3/13/24

The Wildcats Unified Basketball Team played an away game against Pembroke yesterday afternoon! The team showed off some great passing and shooting skills to bring home the win with a final score of 79-68. Brianna DePalma, Theo Barrows, Ethan Syrek, Allie Edgerly, Mekenna Clark, and Jeremiah Barrows all put up points for the team. Captain Hunter Smith was a top scorer with 14 points as well as "B-Man" Brendan Hulme who hit three 3-pointers in row in the last five minutes of the game!! The Wildcats play at home on Thursday against North Attleboro. T-shirts and concessions will be for sale, so come on out to support the team!

Hey Garden Club!  Please plan to meet in the Conservatory this Thursday during PB.  Spring is right around the corner, so let’s start prepping the courtyard!

Attention member of Global Citizens - our next meeting will be Wednesday March 13. Please meet in the Orange Commons after the 5 minute freeze and use the post on Classroom as you pass.

Juniors who are interested in attending a national college/career fair in May must sign up in Guidance this week.

Seniors, scholarship deadlines are fast approaching.  Make sure to swing by Guidance to check out all of the scholarship opportunities before they are no longer available.  Also, in order to keep your privileges for term 4, senior dues must be paid by the end of term 3 which is Thursday, March 28th.

Attention all students participating in World Culture Night. There will be a mandatory meeting for all students on Monday, March 18th during PB. Be prepared to discuss your final plans for your country’s table as well as arrival times. See Señora Oliveira with any questions! 

Any students invited to be part of the Spanish and French Honor Societies are reminded that there will be mandatory practice for induction on both Tuesday, March 19th and Thursday, March 21st during PB. Please check into PB and head to the auditorium after the 5 minute freeze. Honor Society Officers are reminded that their attendance is necessary as well.

West Bridgewater’s annual World Culture Night offers you a night of amazing cuisine from 20 different countries around the world, along with music and cultural workshops. The event is held here at the MSHS on Thursday, March 21st beginning at 5:30pm. All are welcome! Tickets are $6 each with a family cap of $25 and will be sold at the door. Join us for an evening celebrating the rich culture within our very own community. See Señora Oliveira with any questions.

3/13. The hot breakfast this morning is sausage, egg, cheese and hashbrown crunch wraps. Other choices include a variety of pastries, soft pretzels, uncrustables, assorted breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, Magically delicious Lucky charm yogurt parfaits, and the “pick 2” snack rack. For cereal lovers, check out the cereal varieties at the speedy cereal display in front of the milk chest.

Today’s lunch is chicken fajita boats, chicken parm sandwiches on a bun and Wild Mikes Cheesy bites. Freshly made grab and go’s include chicken caesar salads and wraps, Buffalo chicken  wraps and salads, vegetarian mediterranean wraps, bagels w/ yogurt, tuna, chicken salad and  ham subs along with  uncrustables. 

Please think about reducing food waste! Only take what you think you’ll eat and put unopened juice, fruit, and other sealed items in the share bins for others to enjoy.
