MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design) will be visiting our school on Thursday, March 28th.  Any sophomore or junior interested in attending, please sign up in Guidance.

Attention all students participating in World Culture Night. There will be a mandatory meeting for all students on Monday, March 18th during PB. Be prepared to discuss your final plans for your country’s table as well as arrival times. See Señora Oliveira with any questions! 

The senior ball will be held this Friday at LeBaron Country Club. All students need to be in school for the full day in order to attend.

Any students invited to be part of the Spanish and French Honor Societies are reminded that there will be mandatory practice for induction on both Tuesday, March 19th and Thursday, March 21st during PB. Please check into PB and head to the auditorium after the 5 minute freeze. Honor Society Officers are reminded that their attendance is necessary as well.  

Do you love food from around the world? But don’t have the budget to travel to these exotic locations when you’re hungry? Look no further! West Bridgewater’s annual World Culture Night offers you a night of amazing cuisine from 20 different countries around the world, along with music and cultural workshops. The event is held here at the MSHS this Thursday beginning at 5:30pm. All are welcome! Tickets are $6 each with a family cap of $25 and will be sold at the door. Join us for an evening celebrating the rich culture within our very own community. See Señora Oliveira with any questions.

There will be a clothing drive from march 6th to April 5th clothing should be new or gently used or for ages newborn to 13

Advisory is this Wednesday, March 20th. We will be doing an exciting diversity activity we have planned for all grades. Seniors please report to PowerBlock. Please see Ms. K if you have any questions.

3/18 Today’s featured breakfast is a toasted Ham and Cheese Croissant.  Other choices include a variety of pastries, soft pretzels, uncrustables, assorted breakfast sandwiches, smoothies, yogurt parfaits, and the “pick 2” snack rack. For cereal lovers, check out the cereal varieties at the speedy cereal display in front of the milk chest.

Today’s lunch is a popcorn chicken bowl with mashed potatoes and corn and served with a warm honey-wheat biscuit. The pizza line is serving Big Daddy’s cheese pizza and the grill is serving burgers. Freshly made grab and go’s include chicken caesar salads and wraps, Mexican chicken cheddar wraps, vegetarian mediterranean wraps, bagels w/ yogurt, tuna salad and  ham subs along with  uncrustables.  

Please think about reducing food waste! Only take what you think you’ll eat and put unopened juice, fruit, and other sealed items in the share bins for others to enjoy.
