\r\n MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS \r\n9/28/21 \r\n \r\nJust reminding you to put that there's ACTION club tomorrow in the band room during \r\npowerblock! \r\nAnyone interested in playing boys ice hockey in grades 8-12 this winter, there will \r\nbe a meeting today during powerblock, 10:30AM. The coach, Mr. Derrico, of the \r\nnew WB/EB coop will be there to talk about the season. Meeting will take place in \r\nthe gym. \r\nThe first Student Council meeting will be held Thursday morning. All high school \r\nstudents are welcome to join as we begin planning Homecoming and Spirit Week! \r\nPlease meet in Room 116 at 7:05 am; email Miss Pennington with questions. \r\n \r\nA reminder to all current NJHS members - our first meeting is today at \r\npowerblock. Check Google \r\nClassroom for additional information. \r\nThe next Debate Team Practice will be held after school in room 202 \r\non thursday the 30th \r\n \r\nThe next global citizens meeting will be held during powerblock in \r\nthe orange commons on thursday the 30th \r\n \r\nThe golf team picked up a convincing win over Tri county 9 to 0. \r\nTyler Bisbee led all scorers with an even par round. Tommy Sheedy \r\nand Zachary Bellody put the heat on with a very strong start. Ben \r\nAstor and Thomas Polidori were dialed in throughout their round. \r\nBilly Bassett, Vinny Centrella and Brady Waldron all contributed to \r\nthe wildcats win! Keep up the great work golf team! \r\n \r\nThe varsity volleyball team defeated Atlantis Charter in three straight sets to improve their record to 6-2 \r\noverall and 3-1 in conference play. \r\nAlexa Gately led the wildcat attack with 6 kills for the night followed by Brooke Robichaud with 4 kills. \r\n
