TODAY IS THE DAY -- the start of National French Week, everyone. During Powerblock in the auditorium, the French version of Ratatouille will be played for those who signed up in advance. Also, the scavenger hunt will also be starting today. For those who signed up for the scavenger hunt, look for an email from Hope Crompton to get started during Powerblock. Each day 3 new tasks or questions will be released on the scavenger hunt with various ways to earn bonus points. The person with the highest score at the end of the week will receive a $50 Amazon Gift Card. Everyone should look for an email from Hassan to access Day 1 of French Trivia. Each day through November 9, students who get a 100% on the questions will be entered into a raffle for a chance to win a $25 gift card. MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR EMAILS. [Cut to video]

Thankful Thursdays - As part of SEL - Social Emotional Learning every Thursday in powerblock we are going to take a few minutes to talk about what we are thankful for.  This is voluntary for students to offer responses when they feel comfortable to do so.  We hope by hearing the many things we can be thankful for it will energize positive energy!

Attention Model United Nations – We will be meeting this Thursday during Power Block in the learning commons. 

\r\n

The Lions Club is looking for student volunteers for the craft fair on Saturday, November 12 to load and unload trucks. Volunteers are needed from 8 to 10am and/or 3 to 5pm. These hours can be used for community service.

\r\n

 

\r\n

The next debate team practice will be held thursday after school in room 202. Reminder that all team members should be attending at least one practice per week.

\r\n

Attention Global Citizens - our next meeting will be Monday Nov 7 at PB all members should attend

Volunteers are needed during parent teacher conferences.  Students would help parents find classrooms.  Conferences are on Friday, November 18th 12-2 pm, Monday, 11/21 5-7pm and Tuesday, 11/22 4-6pm. Please contact Mrs. DeLorenzo or Mrs. Flynn in the main office.  This is a great opportunity to earn service hours.

Lunch today is a garlic butter chicken with penne pasta and a garlic breadstick, personal cheese pizza and a corn dog nugget and fries boat.  The display fridges have a variety of freshly made grab and go wraps, salads and uncrustables. This week’s featured wrap and salad is Chicken bacon ranch. Warm donut rings, pretzels, assorted pastries, cereals, breakfast sandwiches and smoothies are available at break.

All students can get 1 free breakfast and 1 free lunch each day. Additional items and second meals can be purchased with account money. Students, please bring in money owed for a la carte items to the cashier in the morning.
