MORNING ANNOUNCEMENTS

5/1/24

The boys tennis team lost a hard fought match to a strong Fairhaven opponent yesterday 1 to 4.  Noah Holland had a marathon singles match that lasted till after 6pm.  Noah’s serve was on and he did a fantastic job battling on the court.  Anthony D’Agostino and Chris Jones played a nice match at doubles for the wildcats.  Anthony was an animal at the net putting the ball away and Christopher was on fire with his serve.  Sean Byrnes got his first singles match of the year under his belt too.  Winning for the Wildcats was the doubles team of Nathan Trott and Ryan Geniuch.  The freshman duo was dynamite on the court making quick work of Fairhaven.  The boys look to bounce back with a win on Thursday as they travel to Somerset.

The 2nd Annual Pledge Walk for Childhood Cancer is happening this Saturday on the track from 4-7pm.  Pledge sheets are available in the main office if you would like to participate.  Tshirts and hoodies are still available in the nurse’s office if interested.  Raffle tickets will be sold this Wednesday through Friday during power block and lunch for a chance to win a trip for 4 to Great Wolf Lodge or a brand new XBOX!  All proceeds will be donated to the Jimmy Fund Clinic at Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
