The Global Citizens Club met with guest speaker,Jill Federschneider, via Zoom in which she shared her experiences as a regional director at American Council for International Studies (ACIS). Jill has worked for over 10 years with teachers who want to take their students overseas on an educational travel program to bring their classroom to life.
Jill discussed what her job entails, some of the 16 countries she's traveled and worked in, memorable experiences and some of her favorite international foods! Students got to ask her questions and she shared various ways they can become better Global Citizens even if they can't travel just yet.
The students of the Global Citizens Club were impressed and inspired and have lots of ideas for next year to make the club even better!
