Hello,
Sharing some information from the WB Public Library.
April is National Poetry Month and we thought it would be fun to extend the following invitation out to older elementary, Middle School and High School poetry-lovers:
Were you moved by Amanda Gorman's beautiful poem, "The Hill We Climb," that she gave at this year's presidential inauguration? Join a small group of fellow poetry-lovers in reading lines from Amanda Gorman's poem, "The Hill We Climb," for a video splash on the West Bridgewater Public Library's website. No need to memorize anything. Just meet up once at the library to get videotaped reading the poem with feeling and we will edit it together to create one reading of the poem as a montage of readers. If interested in participating, contact Library Director, Ellen Snoeyenbos at this email address: ellens@westbpl.org.
We loved welcoming our students back this morning. Looking forward to a great first day with them all!
