MS Halloween Party - due to lack of ticket sales we are cancelling the event scheduled for this Friday night. The advisors are working on scheduling a MS Winter Carnival for this winter.
NHS Fundraiser - Trunk or Treat at the MSHS on Sunday, October 8th from 4-6pm. If raining this will be done in the cafeteria. Students (elementary or younger) can trick or treat at crazy decorated trunks of cars and enter to win special raffles from local businesses.

WB Tailgating - Mr. Bodwell and Mrs. Page will be grilling out before the Homecoming football game Friday night 10-19 6pm for students, family and friends from 4:45-5:45. We will set up bag-go, be playing some music in front of the MSHS. No cost - come by for some food and fun!

Tickets for the Homecoming Dance will be on sale this week during Spirit Week. Student Council will be selling tickets during Powerblock or you can get them after school in Room 204. $10 before, $15 at the door so get your tickets early! If you are planning on bringing a guest to the Dance you must sign them up in the office before the end of the day on Wednesday Oct. 17th.
Reminder that the MEFA College Financing Seminar will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. Parents of juniors and seniors are encouraged to attend. Please contact guidance office with any questions.

WASHINGTON DC TRIP - DUE TO THE STRONG INTEREST IN THE WASHINGTON DC FIELD TRIP WE ARE ABLE TO EXPAND OUR NUMBERS. WE CURRENTLY HAVE 18 SLOTS OPEN TO ANY 10TH - 11TH GRADE STUDENT WHO WISHES TO ATTEND THIS TRIP. IT WILL BE ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS. BRING IN THE COMPLETELY FILLED OUT FORM THAT WAS HANDED OUT TODAY AND A TWENTY DOLLAR DEPOSIT TO YOUR HISTORY TEACHER WHO WILL TIME STAMP AND DATE THE FORM. THE LAST DAY TO TURN IN YOUR FORM IS THURSDAY OCTOBER 18, 2018. THOSE OF YOU ON THE WAIT LIST ARE NOW ON THE TRIP. ALSO ONE LAST REMINDER EVERYONE ATTENDING THIS FIELD TRIP YOUR FIRST PAYMENT IN THE AMOUNT OF $200 IS DUE TO YOUR TEACHER ON OR BEFORE OCTOBER 24TH .
There will be a senior class field trip to Tree Top Adventures on November 7 (7:30 am - 2:00 pm) where students can spend the day zip-lining and climbing. Cost of the trip is $45 for those who choose to climb and $15 for students who would like to attend but do not want to climb. Please give cash/checks to Mr. McMurray or Ms. Silva by Wednesday, October 17. If you choose to climb, please be sure to visit the Senior Classroom page to complete the mandatory waiver.
