UNICEF - Hurricane Relief - The October Powerblock challenge for both 7th and 8th graders will be a fundraiser for UNICEF Hurricane Relief Fund. Students will be receiving their collection boxes on Tuesday, October 24th. They should be returned by Thursday, November 2nd. The winning powerblocks in each grade will receive an ice cream party courtesy of the Diversity Club.
Spirit Week - Monday, 10-23 to Friday, 10-27. Tomorrow is Tourist Tuesday. Reminder Homecoming Dance on Saturday, 10-28 7-10pm. Tickets on sale for $10 this week and $15 at the door.
The school store will be open on Monday 10/23 from 10:30-12:00. Come in and buy some Wildcat gear so you can show your school spirit.
Picture Retake Day - Friday, November 17th
SAVE THE DATE - November 16th at 6:30pm WBMSHS along with the WBPD is sponsoring a night for parents and students to discuss topics that are affecting teens: Drug Abuse and the Opioid Crisis. There will be a panel of presenters including: Dr. Dan Muse, EB Hopes, WBPD and the DA's Office. More information will be sent out soon.
The Spanish Honor Society is hosting its 2nd Tapas and Flamenco night at WBMSHS on Thursday, October 19th from 6-8 pm. Come and join us for a night of appetizers and an interactive performance by Flamenco Boston. Tapas will be served beginning at 6pm and the flamenco show will begin at 7pm. All are welcome to join! Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults with a family cap of $30. Tickets may be bought prior to the event from Spanish Honor Society members or at the door. Come and enjoy a cultural evening filled with great food and lively music!

Reminder to parents - please do not drop off students in the parking lot before school. Go around the building. Also do not park in the bus lane at any time. That needs to stay open for buses returning from games and emergency vehicles.
Wear Pink on Fridays in October - Support Breast Cancer Awareness month
Grade 8 Field Trip - The trip to the zoo scheduled for Friday has been cancelled. All money collected will be returned to the students. We are looking at alternate dates for a similar trip either this fall or in the spring.
Travel around the building will be limited until approximately 1:30pm today. If you need to come into the school please park in the visitor spots in the main parking lot.

This year’s PSAT exam will be given at West Bridgewater High School on Wednesday, October 11, at 7:30 AM. All juniors and sophomores are highly encouraged to take this exam in order to prepare for the SAT. Juniors will take the SAT for the first time in the spring. Both juniors and sophomores have received detailed PSAT information from the high school counselors. Please sign up to take this important test ASAP. The cost is $16-cash or check payable to West Bridgewater high school. Please contact guidance if you have any questions.
