Congratulations to Anthony DiMaggio who tied for first place for the middle school VFW Patriot Pen Essay Contest and Mckenzie Craig who won third place in the Voice of Democracy Contest. This is a great social studies department collaboration with the local VFW which allows students to write and share essays showing patriotism and the understanding of our country’s freedoms and government. We are very proud of Anthony and Mckenzie!

Video production students participated in a Four-Hour Frenzy competition in Quincy. Teams from area schools received a prompt and had four hours to research, interview, shoot, and edit a news segment. The prompt was “Steeped in History” (fitting for Quincy). This was the first time that WB represented in this competition and they received a bronze recognition!. We’re proud of the team of Zac Lefferts, Aidan Maier, Lucy Pimental, Dharalynn Soto, and Thomas Stapleton. .
