UNICEF - Hurricane Relief - The October Powerblock challenge for both 7th and 8th graders will be a fundraiser for UNICEF Hurricane Relief Fund. Students will be receiving their collection boxes on Tuesday, October 24th. They should be returned by Thursday, November 2nd. The winning powerblocks in each grade will receive an ice cream party courtesy of the Diversity Club.

SAVE THE DATE - November 16th at 6:30pm WBMSHS along with the WBPD is sponsoring a night for parents and students to discuss topics that are affecting teens: Drug Abuse and the Opioid Crisis. There will be a panel of presenters including: Dr. Dan Muse, EB Hopes, WBPD and the DA's Office. More information will be sent out soon.

The Spanish Honor Society is hosting its 2nd Tapas and Flamenco night at WBMSHS on Thursday, October 19th from 6-8 pm. Come and join us for a night of appetizers and an interactive performance by Flamenco Boston. Tapas will be served beginning at 6pm and the flamenco show will begin at 7pm. All are welcome to join! Tickets are $10 for students and $15 for adults with a family cap of $30. Tickets may be bought prior to the event from Spanish Honor Society members or at the door. Come and enjoy a cultural evening filled with great food and lively music!

Reminder to parents - please do not drop off students in the parking lot before school. Go around the building. Also do not park in the bus lane at any time. That needs to stay open for buses returning from games and emergency vehicles.
