Last week, our Grade 2 students took a nature walk as part of their Changing Seasons curriculum. They embraced the crisp fall air while observing how nature transforms this time of year — noticing colorful leaves, cooler temperatures, and signs of autumn all around. Along the way, students collected leaves to bring their learning about seasonal changes to life!

Thanks to our amazing PTO, students enjoyed an incredible Quest for Kindness assembly! They embarked on an adventure to find the key to kindness-learning about empathy, teamwork, and emotional awareness along the way. What a fun and inspiring day that reminded everyone how powerful kindness can be!

Today, our Grade 3 students had an exciting and important visit from Lieutenant Lynds! They learned all about fire safety, how to prevent fires, and what to do in case of an emergency.
A big thank you to Lieutenant Lynds for making safety fun and memorable for our students!

Some of our WBHS athletic team captains and student-athletes made a special visit to the Rose L. to read to students today! The younger students were excited to meet the athletes and hear some of their favorite stories. It was a great opportunity to promote literacy, leadership, and school spirit—all in one visit!

Wondering what your child will be learning this year? Curious about how you can support them as learners? Join us at Curriculum Night tomorrow, September 18th to get all the answers!
Parents and guardians (no students, please) are invited to learn about important curriculum topics, grade-level expectations, and the programs and materials used across subjects. Teachers will share timelines for skills and topics covered throughout the school year.
Please remember that this is not a time for a conference or private conversation about your child. If you feel you need to meet, please contact the teacher to set up a time.
