Thanks to our amazing PTO, students enjoyed an incredible Quest for Kindness assembly! They embarked on an adventure to find the key to kindness-learning about empathy, teamwork, and emotional awareness along the way. What a fun and inspiring day that reminded everyone how powerful kindness can be!

Today, our Grade 3 students had an exciting and important visit from Lieutenant Lynds! They learned all about fire safety, how to prevent fires, and what to do in case of an emergency.

Some of our WBHS athletic team captains and student-athletes made a special visit to the Rose L. to read to students today! The younger students were excited to meet the athletes and hear some of their favorite stories. It was a great opportunity to promote literacy, leadership, and school spirit—all in one visit!

September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month! Out staff showed support today for the fighters, remember the angels and support families!

Wondering what your child will be learning this year? Curious about how you can support them as learners? Join us at Curriculum Night tomorrow, September 18th to get all the answers!
Parents and guardians (no students, please) are invited to learn about important curriculum topics, grade-level expectations, and the programs and materials used across subjects. Teachers will share timelines for skills and topics covered throughout the school year.
Please remember that this is not a time for a conference or private conversation about your child. If you feel you need to meet, please contact the teacher to set up a time.
To better accommodate families’ schedules and allow parents to visit multiple classrooms, each teacher will present the same info during two sessions—you only need to attend one!
Specialists are joining us too!
Mrs. Pelissier (speech), Ms. Moffat (school adjustment counselor) and Ms. Bennett (school psychologist) will be available in the Gym alongside Music, Gym, Health & Wellness, and STEM specialists. Find Mr. Otto, Mr. Corriea, Ms. Sullivan, and Ms. Winter in the Gym, and Mrs. Tomas in the Art room.
Important details:
• Parking is very limited—plan ahead! Street parking along Steppingstone Drive is likely.
• Presentations start promptly at 5:15 PM and 6:15 PM.

Today, students took part in the spring book distribution organized by RIF (Reading Is FUNdamental). Each student had the opportunity to select a free book to keep—encouraging a lifelong love of reading.
RIF’s mission is to inspire and nurture a passion for reading among our WB students by providing a diverse selection of books.
This program is made possible through the generous support of the Howard Trust, Bluestone Bank, private donors, and the Friends of the Library. We extend our heartfelt thanks to all who make this initiative possible!

Mrs Goodrich's class released their butterflies today!

Thank you to the staff and students that participated in the Showcase tonight at the MSHS!
