Built in 1968, the Rose L. MacDonald School serves students in grades 1–3. While the building has been well maintained, it no longer meets the educational, safety, and capacity needs of today’s students and staff. Most of the building’s systems are original or near the end of their useful life, and the facility does not support modern teaching and learning.
Built in 1958, the Howard School serves students in grades 4–6. While the building has been well maintained and supported through the town budget, it no longer meets the educational, safety, and capacity needs of today’s students and staff. Aging infrastructure, limited space, and an outdated design make it increasingly difficult to support modern teaching and learning.
